·      What title for my student magazine do you prefer; arty farty, the student bible?

·      Would you prefer loud, bombastic, cartoon style or would you like secular, smart, tidy style?

·      What sort of articles or special features would u look for in a desirable student magazine?

·      What amount of money would you be willing to spend on a student magazine and what would you expect for the price.

·      Would you prefer for the language to be more eloquent and formal or edited to the times.

·      What sort of famous interests would u be looking for in a student magazine? Such as ‘is Johnny Depp giving up acting’ or ‘Katy Perry, old news?’

·      If so, who ?

Action plan

Before i start the main task, i will be doing a preliminary task which is to; 

•  Set up A Blog and email blog URL to the teacher.
•   Post action plan on blog.
•   Bog post on the generic conventions of a student/ college magazine.
• Complete textual analysis of a student/college magazine and post on blog.
•    Blog first initial ideas of a student magazine.
• Research target audience and post findings on blog. 
• Experiment with colour schemes/fonts and post on blog.
• Experiment with mode of address name ideas and post on blog.
• Produce a mock of front cover and contents page and post on blog.

Intro to jamie's Brief

AS an inicial part of my AS media coursework i have to create a front page, contents and double page spread of an new professional music magazine. This blog is to aid me to remember my research and planning, through recording my steps as i go along. This will hopefully help to me produce an individual and successful magazine.
